Young Adult Disciples in Action
In Hebrew, “yada” means “to know” and is used in the Bible to describe a relationship with God. It implies far more than an intellectual knowledge, and expresses an intimate, personal involvement. YADA is also an acronym for Young Adult Disciples in Action.
This group of 20 and 30 year olds meets weekly on Tuesday evenings for fellowship, discussion and exploration of life in the 21st century church. The first, second and fourth Tuesdays of the month YADA meets at outside venues such as a pizza parlor, coffee houses or other local establishments for a bible study/discussion. The third Tuesday of the month YADA gathers at the church for a variety of fellowship activities which often include pot-luck dinners or enjoying guest speakers.
The format of the gatherings varies from month to month and is driven by interests from within the group. Please check out the church calendar for YADA events.
