Adult Bible Study – First Christian Church of North Hollywood

Adult Bible Study

Bible Study & Spiritual Deepening

FCCNH offers several opportunities for adults to learn about faith, the Bible, and to ask some of the tough questions of life. We seek to be open, reflective and receptive to all who come. This is a place that offers a safe place for your doubts, your joys and your desire to grow deeper in faith, regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey.

Whether you are a life-long Christian, or describe yourself as “spiritual, but not religious,” you will find a place at FCCNH

TUESDAY MORNING STUDY CIRCLE – “The Story of the Early Church”

Our Tuesday morning group resumes on September 4th, and meets in the Annex at 10:00 am.

This fall, we will learn how the early church grew from a small movement of 12 chosen leaders to organizing congregations, practices and teachings that came to be the Christian Church. A close reading of the book of Acts and the Epistles of Paul and others show us how a formal “Church” began to form. There are additional writings by ancient historians and the early leaders of the emerging church that help us trace how we began with itinerant preachers, and the Roman Catholic Church became the first product of witnessing to Jesus Christ.

Please join us – everyone is welcome.
